Canola fat has a dew point of 400°F (204°C).

How to Preserve cherry tomatoes in oil

To preserve cherry tomatoes in olive oil:

1. Wash tomatoes:

Start by washing them thoroughly. Cut off the stems and any blemishes. You can cut the tomatoes in half or leave them whole if you like.

2. Dry tomatoes:
